Women’s history: Match Workers Strike up for Action 1888.

As many are aware this year commemorates the 100 year anniversary when some women won the right to vote. In addition it is UNISON’S 25th Anniversary. To celebrate these dates we will be holding a number of Women’s History Workshops at various locations throughout the year. These workshops will be around 90mins- 2 hours long. We will be recognising  and learning from women’s achievements in both the labour market, trade unionism and politics. These workshops are open to ALL members. Non members who join and register prior to the event will be entitled to attend.

Please note the dates times and venues of the first workshops below:- Two workshops per day will be delivered- delegates may attend either or both but please advise at time of booking.

Lunch will not be provided though light refreshments of tea/coffee will be.
