(Online) SEND Awareness (for schools)

This half-day workshop is delivered by 2 Resolve to help UNISON members working in schools improve their understanding of SEND and better support children and young people.

This session is only for schools workers and will support members to:

  • Have a better understanding of what SEND is
  • Identify some of the main barriers and impacts of SEND
  • Feel more confident working with the most common elements of SEND
  • Have a better understanding of SEND assessment, diagnosis and treatments
  • Identify strategies and practical ways of adapting your practice when working with people with SEND
  • Have a range of strategies for working with young people who have SEND and feel more confident in supporting positive behaviour

The workshop will be delivered over Zoom.
