Black members

UNISON is committed to fighting racism and discrimination for its members at work and in their communities.

Through the UNISON self organised Black Members Group black members have a voice, an opportunity to come together and work on key issues for themselves.

Black workers are over represented in low paid, temporary or casual employment and need support. We also know black workers are facing particular problems with the oncoming cuts in public services, education and health.

We have a dedicated page detailing our anti-racism work.
